ASK attitudes-skills-knowledge

Teaching is not an easy things to do just like most people would imagine. Especially if you’re teaching sciences.

One: you have to be VERY good in explaining the content part, the KNOWLEDGE.

two: you have to be attentive enough for the students to keep them focus on you, which is your SKILLS in teaching which is basically your personality.

Three: the one thing that you shouldn’t missed is your ATTITUDES towards teaching and what should you show your students.

Well, thats exactly what teaching Science is all about.

At the end of the lesson, we as a Science teacher should be able to impose the KNOWLEDGE to our students, making sure that they are able to perform using the SKILLS that they being taught (either in activities or experiments) and the most difficult part is to planted the desirable ATTITUDES of your students while performing the task or outside the classroom.

So, ASK, and you shall receive.

We also touch on the National Philosophy of Education (NPE) and one of the main principle belief is belief and devotion to God which has been formulated in 1987. The educational aim of the country is to produce individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically balanced and harmonious, based on a firm belief in and devotion to God.

I am a devoted Christian, but I still respect people who don’t trust in the existence of God. So, in this case, should we listen to these people when it comes to education? Does it makes the science that comes out of the so-called god-less scientist is a bad science and vice versa?
